Dental Services

Taking good care of your teeth and gums is an important part of life. A beautiful smile not only looks good, but it is also an indicator of your overall health. Studies have shown that systemic illnesses, such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes, are directly linked to oral health complications like periodontal (gum) disease. At David Crumpton, DDS, our goal is to help you maintain excellent oral health and improve your overall quality of life. Our services include preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and emergency dentistry. If you are in need of any professional dental treatment, you have come to the right place!

Dental Implants

Dental implants, while still a relatively new technology, can provide our patients with the highest quality and most natural-looking replacement option for their missing teeth. This procedure continues to grow in popularity, with half a million people choosing dental implants every year.

Aesthetic Dentistry

Aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry has grown significantly over the past few decades thanks to advancements in technology and technique. Cutting-edge equipment allows us to improve the size, shape, color, and overall appearance of an unsightly tooth. The cosmetic services we provide include teeth whitening, porcelain crowns, dental sealants, and dental veneers & bonding. Teeth whitening treatment is one of the most common procedures we perform due to its effectiveness. We may recommend a porcelain crown for both restorative and cosmetic purposes. The same is true for dental veneers. Both restorations are fabricated using porcelain because of its unmatched aesthetic value.

General Dentistry

With our general dentistry services we focus of preventing problems as opposed the treating them. These treatments are often simple and straightforward, designed to prevent potential problems. A routine appointment typically consists of professional cleaning and check-up exam. We may also recommend an oral cancer screening for adults, and fluoride treatment for children. If we notice any instances of tooth decay or gum disease, you may need restorative treatment.

Many adults that remember the days of head gear and other restrictive orthodontic appliances quietly shy away from seeing an orthodontist, despite the state of their smile. Today, however, orthodontics have greatly changed giving everyone many choices, including clear aligners that make braces less noticeable for those that might feel embarrassed.

Sleep Apnea

Sleep disorders are much more common than you may think. According to the National Sleep Foundation, sleep apnea affects more than 18 million Americans. If you think you may have sleep apnea, you should seek medical attention as soon as possible, due to the serious nature of the disorder.

Preventative Dentistry

Even with a good oral hygiene routine, most people will experience tooth decay or gum disease at some point in their lives. However, there are certain steps you can take to reduce your chances. We offer comprehensive exams, professional cleanings and oral cancer screenings.

Advanced Technology

We understand that using updated technology leads to more informed decision-making, allowing our patients to make the best possible decisions about their oral health.

Digital Smile Design

A beautiful smile is relative to what best fits your unique anatomy and facial profile. For some individuals, certain shapes or colors of teeth are more appropriate than the next. With Digital Smile Design, our dental office is able to make virtual adjustments to specific types of restorations that best fit your individual appearance.

Periodontal Treatment

Gum disease, also known as periodontitis, is an infection that attacks the bone and soft tissue underlying your teeth. This disease is caused by bacteria that affix to your teeth and adjacent pockets. These bacteria form plaque (a sticky coating that forms over the surface of your teeth), which in turn can harden and become calculus (also known as tartar).

Sedation Dentistry

Unfortunately, many people decline necessary dental care because they have fears or anxiety associated with the procedures. When you neglect your oral health, it not only affects the function and aesthetics of your smile, it affects your overall health as well. For our patients that may suffer from some degree of dental phobia, David Crumpton, DDS offers oral conscious sedation!

Restorative Dentistry

Restorative dentistry is designed to fix any problems you may have with your teeth, gum tissues, jaw, and bone structure. We may recommend a dental filling to correct instances of minor or moderate decay. If the damage is substantial, you may need a dental crown. A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cap that improves the function and aesthetics of the tooth. If the tooth is beyond saving, Dr. Crumpton will perform a tooth extraction. Tooth loss is much more common then you may think. For this reason, we offer several replacement solutions, some of which include bridges, dental implants, and dentures.
